Istanbul Earthquake Master Plan
This project was prepared by our Municipality for ITU, ODTU, YTU and Boğaziçi Universities. In addition to the situation determination, this study;
structure examination and reinforcement,
zoning practices,
legal studies,
financial resource studies,
educational studies,
social activities,
the “basic principles” and “fundamentals” of disaster and risk management were determined.
The studies listed under the main headings of IDMP continue step by step within a certain program. IDMP is a social contract that determines the responsibilities, decisions and methods between the institutions and organizations mentioned above.
